May 2023 be the harbinger of hope, health and happiness …
Tennyson wrote: “Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come. Whispering ‘it will be happier’.”
After almost 2 years of Covid fear and restrictions, just when it seemed all is well, the scare of the virus resurfaced as 2022 came to an end. And, therefore, Tennyson’s quote seems to be apt and hopefully true.
Here’s what I wish for:
For a tolerant world. Let’s be compassionate towards one and all.
For religious tolerance. Let religion be all inclusive without any bias.
For safety of women. Against physical, emotional or mental harassment.
For cleaner environment. We owe it to not just us but for future generations to come.
For terror free society. Irrespective of caste, creed, religion or gender.
For a better world let’s lay the foundation for future this year.
With an eternal hope, cheers to 2023!
